Green Gallery is an independent art space located between Blackheath and Lee, founded by us — artist Stuart McHarrie and curator Sarah McHarrie. We live above the gallery, with Stuart’s studio just below, and we have created a space that feels like an extension of how we live with art every day — beautiful, relaxed, personal, and welcoming.
We bring together mid-century pieces, sculpture, and contemporary work by local and emerging artists. Alongside curated exhibitions, the gallery reflects our own creative world: lived-in rather than formal, carefully considered but never intimidating.
More than a traditional white-wall gallery, Green Gallery is intended to feel warm and approachable — somewhere people can discover artists, have conversations, and spend time with art in a genuine way. Whether visiting for a private view, browsing for inspiration, or simply stopping in for a chat, guests are welcomed as they would be into our home.
Based in South East London, Green Gallery celebrates both established and emerging voices while creating a space that feels connected to the local creative community.
